2021, that's a wrap

Well, that has been 2021, and this will be my last post of the year. The last 2-years have been a trying and difficult time for everyone, everywhere. However, it does feel like we are starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to COVID-19.

The past year has been a pretty fantastic one for me, in all honesty! Here are some of my key highlights for 2021!

Actually taking time off work to spend Christmas with family!!
Watching one of my best friends become a father for the first time!
I have taken back up my study of the Norwegian language in an effort not just to maintain it but improve it!
I released my first public Terraform Provider to help people in the community better learn loops!
I pushed myself to live a healthier lifestyle with my food and ensuring I exercised.
I started a new job with Azenix (Mantel Group) with some of my closest friends who are titans in the industry. Azenix offers us an incredible place to grow, and help build a truly incredible Azure consulting company in the Australian market.
Taking up Roller Blading again, for health and leisure.
I consistently started writing this very blog! Writing these has been a very positive habit for me to form, although sometimes I find it a struggle. Including this post, I have written 22 posts this year.

And, those were my key highlights for 2021. I am sure there will be a lot more to come in 2022!

Next year I am thinking about moving towards a fortnightly blogging cycle to allow myself a little more time to get those detailed posts out! If there are any posts that people would be interested in seeing, feel free to reach out to me at any time!

I have taken some inspiration from others in the community and decided to document my goals for the coming year; this is something that I have traditionally struggled with. I hope that putting them out there for everyone to see will help keep me more accountable and motivated to achieve them. Checkout my Goals for 2022.

If you're reading this post, I assume that you have also read some of my other content; I sincerely hope that the content has been able to help or inform you in some way! If you have any feedback about my writing, I would love to hear it!

That's me signing off for the year! 🎅🏼 🎄
